Bocce, Beer & Bites 2026 brought teams, volunteers, and supporters together for a day of sun-soaked competition and hometown fun. Albemarle Area United Way has launched a special $25,000 grant to support innovative solutions addressing homelessness among adults age 65 and older in Northeast North Carolina. Eligible 501(c)(3) organizations are invited to submit a Letter of Intent by October 4, 2024. The initiative aims to spark collaboration, new ideas, and lasting impact for one of the region’s most vulnerable populations.
