Community Care Collaborative Hires New Leader & Celebrates 4 yrs
Albemarle Area United Way is celebrating four years of the Community Care Collaborative, which has helped more than 1,600 households and invested over $500,000 in crisis assistance across the region. AAUW also welcomes Alexandra Lekki as the new Community Care Collaborative Manager, where she will lead efforts to support neighbors in need and strengthen community impact through collaboration and compassion.

By donating to the Hurricane Relief Fund, you help provide critical resources such as food, water, clothing, home repairs, tree removal, and long-term recovery support for residents across Northeast North Carolina. Virtual Spirit Week kicks off with Albemarle Hopeline winning Spirit of Community Award

Covid-19 Response
Albemarle Area United Way’s COVID-19 Response & Recovery Fund provides critical support to residents across Northeast North Carolina facing challenges during times of crisis. Donations help fund essential needs such as food, housing assistance, childcare, hygiene supplies, and emergency services. Since its launch, the fund has distributed more than $42,000 to local nonprofits and community organizations serving vulnerable individuals and families.
