November carries a quiet shift, one that stirs generosity, reflection, and a deeper sense of care. Whether it’s the crisp air, the anticipation of holidays, or the spirit of giving, this season invites us to look outward and uplift others.

At the Community Care Collaborative (CCC), a program of the Albemarle Area United Way, we live out that spirit year-round. Every month, we work diligently to raise funds that go directly to neighbors in need: families facing eviction, seniors struggling with heating costs, and hardworking parents who simply don’t have savings when the car breaks down. These aren’t hypotheticals. These are real people whose lives have been changed because of your generosity.
Now more than ever, CCC is a lifeline; and now more than ever, we need your help to keep hope alive.
If you’re moved to give this November, we invite you to consider CCC. Contributions can be made through our website, by cash or check, donor-advised funds, IRA accounts, whatever method feels right for you. Every dollar helps families in Pasquotank, Perquimans, Camden, and Gates counties weather life’s storms with dignity and support.
If you’d like to learn more about how CCC works or how funds are used, we welcome you to join one of our monthly advisory meetings, stop by our office, or reach out to us directly. We are always happy to share the impact your giving makes.
At some point, we all need help. This November, let CCC be your way of helping others.
